Here is a guide on what you can do to your PLR and later how to profit.
How to Make your PLR Unique?
I’m going to give you some concrete tips that you can implement right now to make the PLR that you purchase unique and stand out from the crowd.
So let’s get to it.
When it comes to PLR articles you need to make some edits.
Edit Articles
The first thing you want to do with your PLR is you’ll want to try and change the title around now.
The title is the very first thing that people will see.
So having a unique title is really important.
Let’s imagine this PLR title: Using Phonics to Help Your Child to Read Much Better.
We could change this to: How to Use Phonics to Help Teach Your Child to Read.
Something as simple as that.
You put a little bit of thought into it, but the first thing you can do is you can change out the header and title and make it something unique to you.
Paraphrasing
The next thing you want to look at is the very first paragraph and you want to see if you can change this up a little bit.
Create a somewhat unique first paragraph.
This is called paraphrasing.
So paraphrasing means changing the words without altering the core meaning.
You want to go through each paragraph and see how well you can paraphrase things.
One thing you can do is you can take two long sentences and try and make one sentence.
You can take two short sentences and try to make it a longer sentence.
You probably don’t want to paraphrase every single sentence because that will negate the point of buying PLR.
But by putting a little bit of effort into paraphrasing the article as much as you can will give your article a uniqueness compared to those that don’t make any effort.
We can also use a thesaurus to help us switch out words.
Thesaurus.com is a great free resource.
Media
Apart from the actual wording, I also recommend that we add specific media to our articles.
So if you can find a video that is related or maybe you can create your own video, then you can embed the video in your article and your website, and that would also help with the bounce rate.
Now bounce rate is when people come to your website, if they leave it very, very quickly, that’s a negative signal to Google, which can adversely affect your search rankings.
If they stick around for a long time, that’s a positive signal.
Now, of course, it’s not the only thing.
There are tons of things, but that is something important and adding a video can really help improve your bounce rate.
Not only videos, but you definitely want to add images as well.
And if you don’t have access to any images that you’re allowed to use, you can come on over to a website called Pixabay, which is one of many royalty free stock image sites.
Images and Links
Then you want to head on over to a free website called tinypng and just drag and drop your image in here and this will compress the image.
You also want to make sure that you add links as well, that’s why there’s all the paraphrasing and changing the wordings and the titles and all that.
And just by putting in that little bit of effort, that will help you make your PLR that you buy unique and stand out from the crowd.

How to Profit From PLR
How can you make money with the PLR that you purchase?
Well, there are tons of different ways that you can make money with PLR.
This post will cover seven of them, but there are really many, many more.
So let’s get straight to it.
So when we buy PLR, we do it to basically save us time because going out there researching, creating and proofreading content is a time consuming process.
So we’ve gone out there and we’ve purchased some PLR on a random topic, how can we make money?
Well, the first thing we can do is this.
Bonuses for affiliate promotions
If you’re an affiliate marketer in any niche, you’re recommending someone else’s product or service.
People unfortunately do go bonus shopping because the product that they’re going to buy is going to be the same, regardless of who they buy it from.
If you can’t come up with a good bonus idea, then offering PLR is often the next best thing.
You can package it up as a really cool thing that somebody can get access to if they buy a specific product through your link.
List Building
If you don’t do affiliate marketing but you do sell your own products and services, another option is to use PLR as a lead magnet.
So whenever anybody opts into your list, you provide the PLR as a gift or a lead magnet.
You can take written content and turn it into a very nice looking PDF.
Upload this to your own domain or something like Amazon S3 and then you can give this away as you build a list.
Emails
Now, speaking of lists, what you can also do is you could use PLR to help you craft follow up email series.
Now, when people opt into your list, you want emails to be pre-written and sent out at intervals that you determined.
Sometimes it can be tricky to think of, what can I write about today?
So you can get some PLR and you can take bits of that PR and use that to craft emails.
Blog Content
Coming up with new ideas for blog posts can be quite hard sometimes.
If you’ve got to research everything from scratch, write it and proofread it, then it becomes a time-consuming process.
So by buying a PLR set, you have content that’s been written by somebody that knows what they’re talking about, and you can put it on your website.
You should edit it a little bit.
Duplicate Content Worries?
Now if you don’t, don’t be thinking that you’re going to get penalized by Google for having duplicate content.
A lot of people worry, “If I buy PLR and other people buy the same PLR and we will put it on our blogs, copy and paste, are we going to get penalized?”
And that is a myth.
Google doesn’t really penalize duplicate content from an SEO perspective.
Wherever you read the news, be it the BBC, CNN, a Fox article or you could be in another country watching any random news site, they all source the information from the same places.
You can actually read exactly the same article across multiple websites for sports, for news, for online retail.
And these don’t get penalized.
Now, which one Google picks to put at the top, who knows?
But again, by doing a few edits, it’s still going to help you rebrand your PLR a little bit.
So while you don’t have to, it’s advisable.
And again, this is going to give you content so you can go write your own content, but you can use PLR so you’ve got a consistent flow of ideas for your blog posts.
Flipping
Maybe you want to flip your website as well.
So if you want to actually sell a website, having a website that’s got some content on it, that looks nice, gives a great first impression to a potential investor or buyer.
So you’ve got that.
What else can we do?
Translate
We can pay somebody to translate our PLR and then we can reach potentially a huge global audience.
I live in Japan so there’s no reason why I can’t get some PLR, have it translated into Japanese and then sell it to a Japanese audience
Assuming I have the rights.
The same can be said for any language.
You just want to make sure that you don’t use some Google translate or free service.
While technology is getting better, it’s not the same as having a professional translator that can get all the nuances in there and do a real proper job.
What else can we do?
Turn PLR into a newsletter.
So we can grab our content that we’ve bought, of course we can outsource this to a professional designer or we can use free tools like Canva and they have templates to design newsletters.
You can take the PLR, put it in a newsletter, and then you could sell it as a recurring income generator.
If you know a little bit about paid advertising and driving traffic, then there’s no reason why you can’t take the PLR, turn into a paid newsletter.
Make it look semi decent, and then sell it for a few bucks and get a nice little recurring income.
So there’s tons of things you can do to profit from PLR, I’ve just touched the surface.
