Fiverr is basically a website where people can offer their services and you come in and you search and you find people that are professional on certain things, and then you pay the money to do it.
Now in the old days, it would be $5.
Hence the name Fiverr.
But these days you can’t get any jobs for a fiver.
And even if they’re advertised as $5, you end up paying a couple of bucks to Fiverr anyway.
So the cheapest you’re going to get a job down for $7.50, but you can pay hundreds, even thousands with good quality stuff.
Now, what most people will do, is they will come over to Fiverr and they’ll say to themselves, “Okay, well, I’m looking for somebody to design me a logo,” for example.
Fiverr will give you all of the people that will design a logo for you.
And you can go through and compare prices and reviews.
You can see their overall star rating out of five.
How many jobs they’ve done?
Then, should you want to, you can communicate with these vendors.
How to Post a Job on Fiverr:
- Fiverr functions a bit differently from most other job posting sites. If you want to hire a freelancer, you’ll need to buy a “Gig.”
- Once you register on the platform, use Fiverr’s search filter to find the right person for your job. After finding a service you want to order, click “Gig.
- Check out the freelancer’s work samples to see if you’re happy. Then decide on the package that best fits your needs.
But I find a better way to do things is this.
How to hire someone on Fiverr
What you can see in the above video is a hidden little request option.
This way, you’ll get proactive folk messaging you and with a bit of due diligence, be able to sift through and find the right person for the job you want.
The Right People
If people are actively looking for work, they’re probably hungry.
And if they follow the instructions, it’s just a different way to get people or to get potential talent to communicate with you and start hiring people on Fiverr.
The worst thing you can do is not do this method, and just try and do everything yourself.
That’s what a lot of newbies, they try and do everything themselves.
For example, imagine you’ve got a problem with your WordPress site, then try and fix it.
Or you want a logo so try and open up a free graphics thing and try and create one.
Doing everything yourself means you get stressed, overworked, overwhelmed, and you always ended up doing stuff that you’re not that skilled at.
Whereas if you come to somewhere like Fiverr, and utilize this method, you can find people that are reasonable, can do it quickly and are professional in that area.
So definitely utilize Fiverr.
It’s one of several really good websites that you can outsource stuff too.
And I really like it.
In fact, I got the logo for my membership designed on it.
